A new article published in the Climatic Change journal by IAGP researchers Adam Corner & Nick Pidgeon explores how the linguistic terms used to describe new technologies have powerful effects on the way in which they are perceived by the general public.
They find that using natural analogies to communicate about geoengineering with the general public may potentially convey undue positivity.
